Singapore, Oct 2 Red Bull wins courtesy of Sergio Perez who does Monaco-Singapore double.
A messy and frustrating weekend for Max Verstappen that ended in P7. Max said:"This is not where we want to be, but we move on to Japan I’m looking forward to race on the great track in Suzuka, next week. Congrats to Sergio Perez on the win today, a very strong performance".
Verstappen has his first chance to clinch the title in Sunday's race but he must score 22 points more than Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, who starts on pole at a circuit where overtaking is difficult. To follow in Japan at Suzuka, Oct 9

Max Verstappen posted the fastest qualifying time, but it's Carlos Sainz who start on pole due to the Dutchman serving grid penalties. The Red Bull team decided to use additional power unit elements that the champion move back to P15 on Sunday and this leaves the Spaniard at the front of the grid.
Sergio Perez came third in qualifying and therefore start second.
The Ferrari team made the same strategic decision for Charles Leclerc who was fourth fastest qualifying will start on P16 due to grid penalties from the back, right behind Verstappen .

SCARY Silverstone Start Crash

Zhou Guanyu has spoken about the high-speed crash he walked away from at the start of British Grand Prix, the Alfa Romeo driver recounting in vivid detail how it felt flying across the gravel at Turn1.
"Yes, I mean for me when the flip happened, the first thing I was trying to do was to release my hand off the steering wheel because you never know, you can break your hand quite easily with a crash like that. Basically, I was just waiting for the last stop hit – and once I was basically stopped, I didn’t know where I was because I was upside down and the next thing I felt was there was some leaking from, I don’t know, I wasn’t sure if it was my body or from the car, so I just tried to switch the engine – the engine was still on by then – because I knew if the fire starts, it would be difficult to get out. So I switched my engine off," he said.

SCARY Silverstone Start Crash

There was carnage at the race start at Silverstone, as Zhou Guanyu, George Russell and Pierre Gasly came together, causing Zhou to barrel roll out of the race – while further behind, Albon was caught up in an incident involving Yuki Tsunoda, Sebastian Vettel and Esteban Ocon. Zhou and Russell were both seen in the medical centre before being declared fit.
But Albon was transferred by helicopter to Coventry Hospital for “precautionary checks” – but was later discharged on Sunday evening.
“Just got very good news from the hospital that Alex is fine,” said Team Principal in a post-race vlog on Williams’ website. “He’s released and he can go home and relax and get ready for next weekend. Unfortunately his race was over before the first corner – and I think it could have been quite a good race for him.”
